The Department of Alabama was formed in June 2020 by the three camps that were separated from the Department of Tennessee. MG James H Wilson, Camp #1 serves the lower central Alabama area and was formed in the 1998. The Pvt Richard Taylor Camp serves the north and northeast Alabama and was chartered in 1999. The John T. Croxton Camp, #17 was formed in 2019 and serves the middle area of Alabama. The Col George E. Spencer, Camp #67.was formed in November 2020 and serves the west and northwest Alabama. In late 2022 the ADM David G. Farragut Camp #5 was formed and serves the Mobile and southwest Alabama Area. Membership in Alabama has grown by over ninety percent in the past three years.
